The Chantry of Winter's Whispers Marquette, MI. |
"Seek and Ye shall find." |
|
Our Chantry As you approach the large white farm house it occurs to you how much the siding blends into the white snow and could easily be over looked if not for the red barn with the numbers of cattle around the back. The door is the only unusual peice of the home, you note as you approach, with large wooden frame work that has lovely designs written into it. Anyone with the ability to read the Tremere's secret languages would know it says: "Enter here to know the truth and leave knowing that you had it all along. Power to the House and clan!" Inside is a lovely foyer with an assortment of amazing and seemingly magical objects. Pictures which seem to look at you no matter where you stand, tops that spin endlessly without stopping, a human body stands on display in a glass case with half of himself gone so the inside might be studied, old maps and numerous college degrees that belong to the Tremere who live inside. The air seems a bit chill and anyone who enters gets the feeling they will not leave again unless the men and women inside will it. Chantry News Although the Chantry has seen the hard times, it would seem now the good ones have begun again. After the scare of being deemed rouge for their lack of action when summoned by Lord Blake the chantry has found a new strength in that of their Pontifex, Her Grace Rayven. Rayen taking an unusual interest in the Chantry has sent here personal secretary Regent Gentries to speak with the clan in Marquette and to establish a sound chantry once more. The apprentices, more than glad not to be dead then sent their humble apologizes again to Lord Blake for not being able to attend him in Chicago as per orders of the Pontifex herself. Just as they finished the worst storm of the millennium hit as if magic had summoned it from no where. The apprentices can only suspect Blake but have left the matters in Regent Gentries' most capable hands. Moving back into the old chantry and preparing for the long winter ahead the apprentices again find solace in their studies. Jeremiah's lose is still felt by not only his childer but by all who knew him. What will become of the Tremere in Michigan is yet to be seen but one thing is certain, the Chantry of Winter's Whispers will prevail and survive as Tremere himself had intended for his best students. |
